Devonshire Grove

Terms & Conditions

Last updated July 2026 · Devonshire Grove is operated by Devonshire Grove Ltd, 5 Minories, London EC3N 1BJ.

1. These terms

By using this website, making a reservation, buying a ticket, paying a deposit or attending Devonshire Grove, you agree to these terms. If you do not accept them, please don’t book or purchase. “We”, “us” and “Devonshire Grove” mean Devonshire Grove Ltd.

2. Tickets & event reservations

  • Tickets are not refundable, except where we cancel or materially change the event (see section 3).
  • Ticket prices may change as an event sells — the price shown at checkout is the price you pay.
  • Standing reservations and some tables are secured by card verification: nothing is charged at booking, but a no-show fee may be charged to the saved card if your party doesn’t attend (the amount is shown at booking).
  • Table and lounge deposits are redeemable against your minimum spend on the night unless stated otherwise at booking.
  • Bookings admit the party size booked. Arriving with more guests than booked may mean the extra guests are refused entry.
  • Event bookings are for the advertised event window; late arrival may result in your table or spot being released, without refund.

3. If we cancel or change an event

  • If we cancel an event, anything you paid for that booking is refunded in full to the card you paid with, and card holds are released. Refunds usually clear within 5–10 working days.
  • If an event is rescheduled, your booking transfers to the new date; if you can’t attend, contact us before the new date for a refund of what you paid.
  • Minor changes (screen layout, music, running order, non-headline elements) don’t qualify for refunds.

4. Dining reservations, deposits & no-shows

  • You can amend or cancel a reservation using the manage link in your confirmation email, up to the cancellation deadline shown there.
  • Deposits are refundable when you cancel before the deadline, and forfeited after it.
  • Where a card is held on file, a no-show fee (shown at booking) may be charged if your party doesn’t arrive and doesn’t cancel.
  • We hold tables for a grace period after the booked time; after that the table may be released.

5. Entry policy

  • We operate Challenge 25 — bring valid photo ID (passport, UK driving licence or PASS card).
  • Entry may be refused at our discretion, including for dress code, intoxication, failed ID checks, refused security searches, or flags from door-security systems. No refund is due where entry is refused for these reasons, though we may refund at our discretion.
  • Re-admission after leaving (pass-outs) is not guaranteed.
  • Tickets bought for the wrong category (e.g. the wrong entry type) don’t entitle you to entry or a refund; contact us before the event and we’ll try to help.

6. Behaviour

We operate a zero-tolerance policy on violent or abusive behaviour towards guests or staff. Offenders will be removed and reported to the police, and we reserve the right to recover costs arising from damage or disruption, including licensing consequences. Details of offenders may be shared with other venues and door-security schemes.

7. Service charge

A discretionary 13.5% service charge is added to bills. All prices include VAT where applicable. VAT receipts are available on request.

8. Filming & photography

Photography and filming take place at the venue. By entering, you consent to appearing in images and recordings used by Devonshire Grove Ltd for promotional purposes, without compensation. Professional recording equipment isn’t permitted without our prior written consent.

9. Cloakroom & personal property

Items are left at your own risk. Our maximum liability for any cloakroom item is £50 unless loss is caused by our negligence. Please don’t bring valuables.

10. Private hire & group events

Private hire and large group bookings are governed by the proposal and booking terms issued for that event, which take precedence over these general terms where they differ. Hire deposits and payment schedules are as stated in your proposal.

11. Chargebacks

If something has gone wrong, contact us first at [email protected] — we resolve almost everything directly. Raising a card chargeback without contacting us may result in future bookings being refused.

12. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law (including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence). Otherwise, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our liability in connection with a booking is limited to the amount you paid for it.

13. Your statutory rights

These terms don’t affect your statutory rights. Note that under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, leisure services for a specific date (such as event tickets and dated reservations) are not subject to the usual 14-day cancellation right.

14. General

  • These terms, together with our privacy policy and any event-specific terms shown at booking, are the entire agreement.
  • Payments may be processed by, and VAT invoices issued by, STX.NG Ltd, an affiliated company — references on card statements and receipts to STX.NG Ltd relate to your booking with us.
  • If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest still stand. Not enforcing a term isn’t a waiver of it.
  • These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of London.
